Not an apples-to-apples comparison
Jeff Lamberti of Ankeny, chairman of the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission, says the commission’s decision not to grant a gaming license in Linn County has no bearing on a pending decision on a Greene County license.
Lamberti told Radio Iowa’s Dar Danielson in an interview Friday that the commission will look at the impact of a new casino on the area, and that’s a different situation than the casino market in eastern Iowa.
